Delhi-based Ferns N Petals's organised the first Wedding Fraternity Meet (WFM) way back in 2012. This time the meet was held in Delhi on Friday, 12th September and like the earlier meets it witnessed the presence of over 500 professionals from different wedding genres- wedding planners, designers, artists, caterers, photographers, floral experts, luxury car-rental services, hoteliers etc.
Ferns N Petals (FNP) Weddings, leader in the wedding planning arena since two decades in India, hosted the third edition of Wedding Fraternity Meet (WFM). The world’s first and the largest platform united who’s who of the Indian Wedding industry to exchange business ideas and opportunities under one roof.
In the gala evening, His Highness Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, 76th Custodian of the House of Mewar unveiled Soulebrations- the first ever coffee table book on wedding designs in India to celebrate 20 glorious years of the brand’s existence. Addressing the fraternity, His Highness said,“The Future is now…what you do today will determine your future because now is the only real time to affect any needed transformation”.
The evening also witnessed interactive sessions with Industry veterans like Designer JJ Valaya, Floral Designer Araik Galstyan, Entertainment Expert Nitin Arora, Set Designer Sumant Jayakrishnan and Michel Koopman, General Manager, The Leela.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vikaas Gutgutia, Founder and MD, Ferns N Petals said,“Weddings are now a large and relevant part of the events and experiential industry. A platform like WFM allows collaboration amongst partners, who can together share their strengths to make the industry more organised. The objective of creating this forum is to provide a dais where stakeholders can share their views and concerns before the entire fraternity”.
He further added, “The year 2014 marks the centenary celebrations of FNP and we are delighted to launch the first-of-its-kind coffee table book on wedding designs on this august occasion. We are privileged that His Highness Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur could become a part of this significant event in the history of Ferns N Petals”.
The brands associated with WFM, had a chance to display their creative offerings for the upcoming wedding season. Swarovski crystals added sparkle to the event with a unique crystal mandap, a novel concept to create an exclusive wedding experience. Puneet Gupta Invitations displayed bespoke wedding and personalised wedding invites. The soiree was attended by 500 crème guests from various walks of wedding arena across the nation – wedding planners, designers, artists, caterers, photographers, floral experts, luxury car-rental services, hoteliers etc. The evening concluded with high drama and panache.
